First of all, breaking news is that due to Obama being unwilling to give the order, Panetta took over and kept the mission from Obama in a coup until the last moment. That’s why he looks oblivious in the room photo shot.
2 shots to the temple and that’s the result? There seems to be far too much damage from two rounds of 9mm.

they carry .40 or .45 not 9mm. And they carry a .223 round for the rifly, more than capable of doing what’s in this picture

Technically they can choose their loadout (weapons and gear) to suit their needs so there is no standard loadout. Common weapons used are the HK USP45, M4A1, HK MP5, HK23 which is a .45, MK43, M-16A2, shotguns, and many others of their choice… and yes they also use the P226 among others. I don’t know what they shot him with but a standard NATO 5.56 round will indeed do some serious damage. They even use AK’s…just depends on what the situation calls for and what each individual wants.

Look. What’s the big deal about putting this on national TV. If you all recall they did the same thing to Nick Burg. They cut his head off on camera and televised it.
